Core Principles, Values & Ethos, Curriculum Intent & Arundale's H.E.A.R.T

Core Principles

At Arundale we have three core principles that underpin our curriculum: curiosity, well-being and equity. These core principles run through everything the children experience. We believe that everyone is capable of being successful and happy. We want to celebrate individuality and give opportunities for everyone to follow their passions and strengths

Through our curriculum, we intend that every child will be a curious learner who loves to play, explore and is inspired to be creative.

Regardless of their background or starting point our curriculum intends to give every child the experiences and opportunities to be successful and happy.

Our intention is that each and every child will be knowledgeable and motivated to take an active role in their own well-being, happiness and achievements.

Values & Ethos

We are passionate about providing children with an exciting, enriching, progressive and engaging curriculum every single day!

Through engaging experiences, we promote self-esteem and nurture inquisitive minds. By valuing creativity, individuality and celebrating every success, no matter how small, children can follow their passions and strengths.

At Arundale, you can simply 'Be Yourself'

Arundale's Curriculum Intent

Through our curriculum, we intend that every child will be a curious learner who loves to play, explore and is inspired to be creative.

Regardless of their background or starting point our curriculum intends to give every child the experiences and opportunities to be successful and happy.

Our intention is that each and every child will be knowledgeable and motivated to take an active role in their own well-being, happiness and achievements.

Our school community is committed to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment.  We value and promote shared and personal achievement, high standards and respect for the individual. We believe that by working together we build understanding of one another and develop the self-esteem of every individual.

This Mission Statement represents the principles that we strive towards at Arundale Primary School. Throughout our prospectus we hope to show how we translate these aims into practice.
