Year 6

Year 6 Harry Potter Day

On Thursday Year 6 had a ‘Harry Potter Day’ making potions and dressing up as their favourite characters to get them ready for their exciting adventure to Harry Potter World on Friday 21st July! They also had a visit from Gauntlet Birds of Prey and were able to hold the different types of birds.

Well Done Year 6!!

Well done to all our fantastic Year 6 children for being so sensible and mature during their SATs this week and all giving 100%. To celebrate the last exam on Thursday, Julie Fox our school cook and her team of ladies gave the children a treat of cakes and slush drinks! This afternoon, they have also enjoyed a film with popcorn and yet more cakes which is thoroughly deserved after a very stressful & tiring week!!

Science Week

Year 6 took part in a number of activities and workshops throughout Science Week such as Sublime Science who came in on Tuesday, a big science dome and then their own individual experiments in class. Year 6 enjoyed Science Week!

Young Voices

On Thursday 2nd February our Year 6 children performed in the largest school choir in the world! The children got to sing alongside some of the latest pop stars along with classically trained musicians as well as learning and performing a whole host of dance moves to go with the songs! It was a very long and exhausting day, but definitely one they will remember for a long time to come!

Year 6 met Ama Agbeze who is a England Netball Captain. She did some training with them.
