Every Friday morning, in the school hall, we hold an achievement assembly to celebrate success in Arundale and at home. We award children who have made their teachers proud all week. We would be delighted if parents would come along too.
In line with our safeguarding policy, the doors to the hall will not be opened until 9.00am on Friday’s for assembly. This is to ensure the safety of our pupils which is obviously extremely important to us. We trust you will support us with this decision.
We analyse each year group's attendance and the year with the best percentage throughout the week will win a trophy or Bob - our school friend, to keep in their class all week!
The class who achieve 100% attendance throughout the previous term will have special recognition with cakes and drinks in the hall! Thank you to Julie, our school cook for providing these.
Also all the children who achieve 100% attendance throughout the whole academic year will receive a certificate in our end of year assembly along with a £10 reward! All of the names are put into a draw to win a prize... the winner can choose their prize at an amount of £120!!
Prefects in Year 6 total all the teampoints from each class and the team with the most points that week will win a trophy! Then at the end of the term, the team with the most cups will take part in celebrating with a morning treat of fun and activities.
